A smith's hearth of fieldstones with a leather bellows. It burns charcoal, hot enough to work iron at the anvil beside it.

What it does

• Heap charcoal in it (click it holding charcoal): each piece keeps it hot 4 minutes, up to 40 minutes at once. Wood won't do. An Anvil within 4 steps works iron while it glows.
